Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is in Greenwich Village. It is one of the most popular smaller parks in New York City, especially for NYU students. It is 9.75 acres and consists of an open space and the Washington Square Arch. You can find it at the northern gateway. Students use the park as a meeting space as well as for performances and entertainment.

The Highline

The Highline or High Line Park is an abandoned railway that is now a 1.45-mile long elevated trail with various attractions and gorgeous views of New York City. It is on the West Side of Manhattan and runs from Gansevoort Street through Chelsea.
