Each tour has a different duration, but on average, our tours are between 2- 2.5 hours long.

This answer may vary depending on the season(please visit our route pages for more information: Downtown, Uptown, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Night Tours. for current schedules), but our first tour starts at 8am (the Downtown Tour) and our last hop on, hop off tour ends at 5pm(Spring). Our last tour ends as late as 10pm (this is our Night Tour which is a non-stop tour).
Yes, they do. Our double decker buses run 365 days per year, rain or shine. We offer complimentary ponchos on rainy days to help keep you dry, and you always have the option to travel on the lower level of the bus, which is completely covered. During the winter season, we cover almost all of our double decker buses with a transparent cover, which will keep the wind away and still let you enjoy 360 degree views of New York City.

No, your bus pass gives you access only to our double decker tours. However, if you buy one of our All City Super Passes, you can receive a free Liberty Cruise, two hours of extra bike rental with the purchase of a rental, and entrance to the Museum of the City of NY.
No, our Downtown Liberty Cruise does not dock on the actual island, however, our route passes right in front of the island, close enough for you to take the best pictures.
Our buses are red and royal blue and include our TopView Sightseeing logo. Some of our buses might be wrapped with Partner Advertising. The front of the bus will always be red with our TopView logo.

Our Downtown tours offer audio commentary in 8 languages including English, Spanish, Italian, German, French, Portuguese, Korean, or Russian. Our Brooklyn, Night and Uptown Tours are only available in English.
Each bus stop is designated on the map with a nearby landmark - whether a storefront, or a street corner, the landmarks are not easy to miss. If you are unsure whether you are standing at the right spot, please feel free to call our office and we will direct you to the right place.
Our Visitor Center, located at 2 E 42nd St., New York, NY 10017, is open from 8am- 7pm, 7 days a week. Our buses operate 7 days a week on a seasonal schedule, which is tour-specific and can be found on our route pages for more information: Downtown, Uptown, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Night Tours. Our Bike Rental Visitor Center, located at 892 9th Ave., New York, NY 10019 (off of 58th St.), is open 7 days a week, 8am-7pm (this location’s hours of operation are also seasonal).
Although you can technically start your trip from any of our Hop On Hop Off stops, we always recommend that you start your trip from the first stop for our tours. Hop on Hop off means you can hop off the bus at any one of its stops (all stops locations are listed on our route pages for more information: Downtown, Uptown, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Night Tours.), explore as much as you like, then hop back on the next bus at one of the stops shown on our map. You have unlimited hop on hop offs during the hours specified on your Pass. Buses run approximately every 20-30 minutes for our Downtown Tour and 30-45 minutes on our Uptown Tours.
No. Our Downtown and Uptown Tours are Hop On Hop Off. Our Downtown Liberty Cruise, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Night Tours are non-stop tours.
Our Liberty Cruise starts at World Trade Center Terminal (Battery Park City on Vessey Street). Walking directions from Downtown Stop 13: Head south on West St toward Tribeca Bridge, Turn right onto Chambers St, Turn left onto North End Ave, Turn right onto Vesey St, Turn left onto Battery Park City Esplanade.
Yes, you can purchase tickets directly at World Financial Terminal at Battery Park City (Vesey St. and North End Ave.). The price will be higher than our online specials. Payment at the World Financial Terminal at Battery Park City for Tickets is Cash Only.

It is never too early to organize your trip so we encourage you to book early. Whether you book your tickets a year in advance or buy the same day, your ticket validity time starts from the moment you print your physical ticket.
No, you will need to print your ticket with one of our uniformed ticket agents or visitor centers.
No, tickets purchased online for our tours are non-refundable. However, our tickets can be used up to two years after the date of purchase.
For any double decker pass that you purchase, the duration of the pass starts from the time you redeem you online voucher for a printed ticket.

After you complete your online purchase you will be redirected to a confirmation page with your voucher number on it. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please print this confirmation page, or just call our local number when you arrive in NYC, and we will find your reservation based on the last four digits of your credit card. After that you can redeem your tickets at any of our Visitor Center locations or from a uniformed ticket agent.
If you book online, we are able to accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex, and PayPal. If you come to our Visitor Centers, or wish to purchase your tickets from our uniformed street agents, you will be able to use cash, travelers checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AMEX.
You can pick up your tickets at one of our TopView Visitor Centers located at: 2 E 42nd St. (42nd and 5th Ave. next to Bank of America), New York, NY 10017 892 9th Ave., New York, NY 10019 (between 57th and 58th St.)
Although we strongly encourage you to buy your tickets in advance online on our website you can also purchase tickets at any of our convenient Visitor Center locations: 2 E 42nd St., (42nd and 5th Ave next to Bank of America), New York, NY 10017 892 9th Ave., New York, NY 10019 (off of 58th St.) Or from any of our uniformed ticket agents. We have over 250 street ticket agents roaming the streets of New York City. Child tickets are available for kids aged 4-12. Children aged 3 years and under may travel free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Chartering is generally a very economical way to travel as a group. Charter prices depend on the route, the group size, as well as the date and time requested.
